An Interesting Story—The Moving Tree

I always look at the 80-20 rule. About 80% of our clients don't really use the program the way it was designed. They look at it, try to find the magic and then when they see it is not magic but logic…they go on a search online to find the magic bullets that will turn their sons around into a phenom. They look at all the websites that are selling weighted baseballs and read all the testimonials that say they will improve velocity 5-10 mph in a very short time. So that must be the way to go. And off they go on another tangent…and more wasted time.

Or they go over to some discussion forum that focuses on what major league pitchers do in their mechanics and end up…going on another tangent wasting more time.

The other 20% of our clients are decision makers. They apply our program the way they apply other proven information in their lives and that why they are successful in most everything they do. They aren't scattered out there looking for magic anything. They know it does not exist.

The story of the moving tree below reminds me of the 80% out there who are always looking for magic. The 20% of our clients are growing strong and gaining skill. They aren't looking for instant anything.

Which group are you in?

Are You Like The Moving Tree?

Once upon a time there was a little tree. He sat in the soil and danced in the wind. And he looked around and saw the other trees. "Man, they sure look taller than me," said the little tree. "Probably it's the soil," he mumbled.

So he lifted up his roots and moved over to the part of the garden which he thought had better soil. A few weeks later the little tree looked up again. "Damn," he cursed under his breath,"the other trees are growing taller than I am. Probably it's the sunshine. Let me move into where I get more sunshine."

And so the little tree moved from point to point, always picking up his roots. Always moving. Always searching for the right soil, water, fertilizer, sunshine and other more favorable conditions.

And he stayed stunted. The trees that stayed in one place built strong roots. Their barks grew solid. Their branches soared. And the little tree stayed little.

Are you a little tree? A tree that keeps uprooting itself doesn't get a chance to grow. It stays confused and scattered. Stay where you are.

Learn what you need to. And grow strong roots. That's what will make you a big tree.

Move upward. Not sideward.

If you want an explosive body and explosive mechanics you need to get my Free Report at www.pitching.nexcess.net. We won't waste your time. We show you what works and what has been proven to work. I show you a comparison between two high school pitchers and a major league pitcher who throws mid to upper nineties. Find out why you do not have powerful mechanics.
