I am Jeroen, living in the Netherlands
I am a trainer coach of a youth baseball team (15 till 21 years)
Basebal is nog approx 35 years in my live, and ofcource i still have questions.
So this forum (at least for the try period) will be possibly an source of some answers.
I am very attracted by the idea that there has to be proof vefore you can say it is the best thing to do. My Job is Manager quality control and everything is turning aroiund finding prove.
My team is not performing well this year. Oh yes we do serious hitting with runs and so, but our opponent does the same. I think we could use some better pitching.
I hate “pitching games” weren everything turns around K’s (in the class we are playing, i can immagine that this is somthing different when playing teh big leagues…)
What am i looking for?
I have 5 pitchers (or at least 5 men want to be a pitcher) and every pithcer is different. I wopuld like to doe some video analysis but i have a low budget (in a matter of fact, I have to pay for it myself…)
I hope to find some proven best practice, the lingo to use to coach my men, to prevent injury (which I didn’t succeed last year unfortunately) This guy was throwing side-arm and overthrown himself. Now i showed him a video of him onthe mound and, allthough I could not say what he did wrong, he directly stopped the side arm and is trying to throw more “traditional” now… Should I encourage him, or not.
Thses type of questions I look ansers to.
Hope to find some here!
