Hello evveryone my name is richie and i am a knewer member i am 15 and a freshman at a high school in a litlle town in pennsylvania. I am 6’2″ and about 200lbs and my coaches always wanted to make me into this all star pitcher but really wernt sure howto get me over the good to great hump. My dad and i have read about this site for a wile and finally tried it out we wer so amzed at how precise it was. Even though iv been having trouble finding time for the workouts with basketball 6 nites a week but im sure this is going to be an x-factor in the future. iv worked this program offseason training and already have seen improvement.I am jus writing to express my thanks to dick for putting together a program liek this and thank all customers for their threads which have helped me out with some of my own pitching problems. Thanks again, Richie Condeelis
Just joined. Followed Dick Mill’s for years and as a travel ball coach I have always used his philosophy. The problem I’ve had is that my son’s HS coaches gave no instruction (ZERO) for 4 years. I even sent them video that I had taken and my son asked then to evaluate – we got nothing. So I would have to work with him every summer and fall to “fix” him (using basically the information from Dick Mill’s email) then turn him over to HS where he got not support. Despite that My son did receive a respectable scholarship at a small D2 school in SC. He has thrown 83-85 and touched 87 so I know he has something more left in the tank. I don’t know if his college pitching coach will video and with him away at school I can be there (and I know his college coach doesn’t want some dad intervening). I will 2 opportunities to video tape him in August (then it will be hit or miss) and I was hoping I could upload them to this forum for some help and advice. I am a sponge for well researched advice and I wish I could talek Coach Mill’s into coming to the Charlotte, NC area for a clinic.
Welcome. The chances of your son’s coach videotaping? Slim to none. We had a D2 pitching coach about 4 years ago buy into a video analysis I did for one of his pitchers. He started videotaping every pitcher. My student went from 86-94 is just 6 months and then up to 96 during summer ball. That D2 won the World Series that year. All the pitchers improved their velocity. There are some who want to learn…but just not enough. Coach Mills
