1. In the discussion regarding poor lead leg action, such as the leg swings out and around rather than moving in a more direct line toward the plate, I attempted to submit this question during the tele-conference, but apparently you didn’t receive it, and that is, doesn’t “Momentum Pitching” resolve this issue? It seems that much discussion is steered away from “Momentum Pitching”, which is working very well for my students.
2. When you said “raise your hand”, I did submit questions but I heard you say that no questions were asked. There may be a flaw in the software, but I definitely submitted more than 1 question that you didn’t receive.
Otherwise, it was a very good tele-conference.
Most questions get submitted prior to the start of the teleconference. Honestly, I did not check the Q&A section of my control panel after we started. Big mistake. I will know to next time.
When I say “raise your hands” you can do that using your phone by pressing * something. Will find out exactly what. I will check on that one. When a hand raises I see it on my control panel. I then can unmute that person and let them ask the question.
I will make sure Tyler…my webmaster sends along clear instructions for next month so you get your questions answered on the spot.
Sorry for any inconvenience. I am still learning that thing too…being a non-tech kind of guy.
As for Momentum Pitching it will certainly remove leg swinging out of the wind-up but then we have the stretch to look at. The leg swinging is a huge problem for many kids and they do not even know it.
By the way…thanks for sitting in the teleconference. Ryan and I enjoy sharing what we learn.
I just finished listening to the October conference call. It was excellent. I encourage everyone who has not listened in to do so. Dick and Ryan make a great team, each giving their own insights on mechanics and corrections. Very entertaining and informative.
