I just came back from the Under Armour Classic 17u tournament in Juno Beach Florida. I took my 16u travel team there from upstate NY. My son, the 12 year old in the momentum book by Mr. Mills is on the team. He pitch the first game and won as a 16 year old. There was many of the top prospects in the country there. We faced one of them. I was amazed almost every pitcher from the south, that I saw never used a slide step from the stretch. They are all slow and balance with slow delivers. One team we faced they took the pitcher to the bullpen and tried to teach the kid a slide step during the game. He was going to Miami University. We ran all over the pitchers. The team that one it all, all its players were going D1. Mostly Miami University. They even had the pitcher that pitcher for the USA Jr Olympics, that pitched the gold medal game. We were up one nothing into the 6th inning and then we gave up 1 run and then in the bottom of the 7th we made an error and had a walk. They ended up scoring the winning run on a balk. The scouts were looking at velocity and the size of the kids pretty much. For playing all year long the pitchers were really not much better then ares. For them being 17 and mine being 16 they were bad but had a little more velocity. My kids want to go back next year and win it all.:)
My son was invited to Long Island in the end of July to a show case there.
    THANK YOU MR. MILLS!!!!!!!!!

Bringing The Gap Between Fundamentals & Innovations In Pitching.

In 2004 we developed the first evidence-based pitching program based on sports science research, instead of common coaching beliefs. Through this research we've also learned video analysis is still the best and most accurate way to assess pitching mechanics. We not only show pitchers at all levels their faults and the adjustments, but work with there style in order to improve their velocity and control, all while reducing their risk of arm injuries. The true difference about our coaching methods are simple, our clients will truly feel the difference and that's the only true way towards improvement and development.
